Salman Khan Just Shook The Throne Of King Khan. He Is Now Bollywood's Highest Earning Actor

Forbes
Yup, you read that right, not that it is hard to believe.

Based on calculations of earning and fame from October 1, 2013, to September 30, 2014, Forbes magazine decides who tops their list. SRK's big moment during this time period was Happy New Year, and for most of the time he was zipping in and out of cameos (Youngistaan" and "Bhoothnath Returns) and ads, and earned Rs. 202.4 crores. He'd even made the cover last year!

During the same time period, Salman Khan was everywhere - from superhits like "Kick" and "Jai Ho", to his stint as Bigg Boss host. He dominated, and cashed in Rs. 244.5 crores.
ForbesWhat may seem surprising to fans of the Khans is the man on the second rank - Amitabh Bachchan. Perhaps it's because he has the highest number of fans in Bollywood, or his endorsement deals and film offers that earned him 196.75 crores.

After Salman, SRK and Amitabh, here're the other ladies and gentlemen on the list.
MS Dhoni: Rs. 141.crore

The CSK scandal let down Dhoni’s hopes for the IPL but Dhoni led his team to victory in the Champions League T20. The year also saw Dhoni became the co-owner of ISL football team Chennayin FC and HIL hockey team Ranchi Rays.
Akshay Kumar: Rs. 172 crore

Entertainment Movie
The only man to challenge the Khans year after year, he rocked ‘Holiday’ and had a pretty OK run with ‘Entertainment’ (co-starring with a Labrador!). Akshay also returned to TV with dance reality show Dare 2 Dance.

Virat Kohli : Rs. 58.43 crore

His international career started with a bang, but the year’s summer tour of England saw his form dip. After a stunning test series in South Africa, he averaged just 13.4 runs per dismissal. With 25 ODIs, 11 Tests and eight T20 Internationals, he’s played more than any other cricketer in our time period.

Aamir Khan : Rs. 80.47 crore

For Aamir, this year was about Dhoom and Satyameva Jayeta, and it is rare to see Aamir endorse brands other than himself! Dhoom 3 is the highest grossing Bollywood film of all time, and TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is probably the most respected.

Deepika Padukone: Rs. 67.2 crore

The only lady on the list, Padukone's stardom is rising, with successful movies and cool endorsements. ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela’ and ‘Finding Fanny’ did well at the box office, and she also won acclaim for her portrayal of a young princess in the Tamil ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

Hrithik Roshan: Rs. 85 crore

india-forums
Hrithik had a tough year. From a brain surgery in April to a divorce from his wife of 13 years, Sussanne Khan. However, Krrish 3 and Bang Bang! rocked 2013 and 2014.

Sachin Tendulkar : Rs.  59.54 crore

This year saw Sachin becoming the youngest, and the first sportsman to receive the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour. And with 150,000 pre-orders, his autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’ broke all adult hardback records!
